Why I Named My Girl Ayeeshah?
When I first heard the name ayeeshah, it made me pause. The meaning — alive and well — captured what I wanted for my child. Coming from our heritage, and with roots in Arabic, it felt authentic.
We didn’t want a trendy name — we wanted something timeless. ayeeshah became the obvious choice. Every time I say it, I’m reminded of the love behind it. That’s why I named my girl ayeeshah.
