Why I Named My Boy Jowan?
When I read the name jowan, it caught my heart. The meaning — God is gracious — captured what I wanted for my child. Coming from our tradition, and with roots in Hebrew, it felt connected to who we are.
We weren’t drawn to a trendy name — we wanted something with a story behind it. jowan felt like the right fit. Every time I say it, I’m reminded of the love behind it. That’s why I named my boy jowan.
